Cory's best friend dares him to befriend the local fisherman, who is rumored to be a dangerous criminal. Cory is terrified of the fisherman at first, but since he doesn't want to seem like a coward to his friend, he tries his best to get along with the fisherman. But during his attempts, he starts to think that the fisherman is actually cute. Soon, he finds himself having a massive crush on the man he used to be terrified of.

Sorry to be a pedant, but for Darius to see Cory's silhouette through the door it must be TRANSLUSCENT/FROSTED and NOT opaque. You can't see anything through an opaque object.

Cute! The fish/ocean theme of the UI is nice. And I thought it was funny how often they mentioned it smelling like fish--love can make any setting romantic!

Aw, this is so precious! Darius is very pure; it was fun watching the romance between him and Cory unfolding!
The custom UI is also very cute. I like the fish CTC icon in particular, and the hooked fish on the main menu. It's all very thematic and cohesive!
There's also a lot of nice art to look at; I'm impressed you made so many CGs (and all the sprites + BGs) on your own during the jam! Oh, and I just saw you made the music yourself too! That's even more impressive!

I would like to praise this game, but it will not be very frank… The idea of this game was promising, but in the end everything is quite linear and sometimes boring. I would like the characters to be revealed much more. What do we know about the characters at the beginning of the game and what do we know at the end? Basically nothing… Did the Fisherman just turn out to be cute?
Perhaps your previous games set the bar for emotional experience too high, but it is definitely not reached here.And for me personally, mini-games do not compensate for this disadvantage, but only emphasize it.
Umm... This is a short free game for a two month long game jam... I already added how long this game would take. Also, this game is made by me and my editor. I hope you understand. It's very discouraging when I want to create something out of passion and for others to enjoy for free, but people expect a magnum opus.
Perhaps your talent makes us expect it.
